Avrupal\u0131 sosyologlara g\u00f6re medeniyet ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr ayr\u0131d\u0131r. Sosyolojinin do\u011fum yeri Avrupa oldu\u011funa g\u00f6re bu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fc ciddiye almak zorunday\u0131z. G\u00f6kalp, Diyarbak\u0131r&#8217;dan sonra \u0130stanbul&#8217;da ve T\u00fcrk Oca\u011f\u0131&#8217;ndayken Azerbaycan Cumhuriyeti&#8217;nin kurucusu ve cumhurba\u015fkan\u0131 Mehmet Emin Resulzade de oradad\u0131r. 1918&#8217;de kurulan Azerbaycan&#8217;\u0131n bayra\u011f\u0131nda G\u00f6kalp&#8217;in fikri g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr: Mavi T\u00fcrkl\u00fck, k\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 medeniyet, ye\u015fil de \u0130slamiyet&#8217;tir. O kadar ki, mesel\u00e2 arkeolojide, &#8220;<em>\u00e7izgili \u00e7\u00f6mlek k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc<\/em>&#8221; gibi, G\u00f6kalp&#8217;in katiyen harsa sokmayaca\u011f\u0131 madd\u00ee unsurlara da k\u00fclt\u00fcr dendi.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Medeniyette ileri ve geri<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Bir ba\u015fka soru, medeniyetin bir \u00e7izgi \u00fcst\u00fcnde ilkelden geli\u015fmi\u015fe do\u011fru y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fcp y\u00fcr\u00fcmedi\u011fidir. Modernite \u00e7a\u011f\u0131nda, kendilerini modern, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n geri kalan\u0131n\u0131 da iptida\u00ee g\u00f6ren emperyalist d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceye g\u00f6re \u015f\u00fcphe yok ki \u00f6yledir. Bunu sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in fert ba\u015f\u0131na kilometrekarelerce arazi gerekiyor. T\u0131pk\u0131 do\u011fadaki ba\u015fka b\u00fcy\u00fck memelilere geni\u015f araziler gerekti\u011fi gibi. Avc\u0131-toplay\u0131c\u0131 diye k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fcmsememek laz\u0131m. O avc\u0131 toplay\u0131c\u0131 insan, kendinden y\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131, kendinden g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc, kendinden h\u0131zl\u0131 hayvanlara galebe \u00e7alm\u0131\u015f ve be\u015f k\u0131ta \u00fczerinde h\u00e2kimiyetini kurmu\u015f.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tar\u0131m ba\u015fl\u0131yor<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u0130lk yerle\u015fik d\u00fczen, insano\u011flunun tar\u0131m\u0131 ke\u015ffiyle ba\u015fl\u0131yor. Son buz devrinin hemen arkas\u0131ndan; 10.000 y\u0131l \u00f6nce\u2026 Arazinin yo\u011fun insan topluluklar\u0131n\u0131 besleyebilmesi ancak tar\u0131mla m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oluyor. Otlardan arpa, bu\u011fdaya ve di\u011fer tar\u0131m \u00fcr\u00fcnlerine uzanan, insano\u011flunun i\u015fine yarayan tohumlar\u0131n se\u00e7ilmesiyle ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bitki evrimi. Ottan tah\u0131la, dar\u0131dan m\u0131s\u0131ra&#8230; Bunun ard\u0131ndan hayvanlar\u0131n ehlile\u015ftirilmesi geliyor. Milliyet\u00e7ilikle ve medeniyetin ili\u015fkisi var m\u0131d\u0131r; varsa nedir?<\/p>\n<p>Art\u0131k bu sorular\u0131n cevab\u0131n\u0131 vermek de zor de\u011fil. Medeniyet birikim ve ileti\u015fime dayand\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6re ve bu iki unsur da ge\u00e7mi\u015fte g\u00f6r\u00fclmedi\u011fi kadar h\u0131zl\u0131 ve dayan\u0131kl\u0131 oldu\u011funa g\u00f6re medeniyet cihan \u015f\u00fcmuld\u00fcr. Medeniyeti \u00f6\u011frenmek de\u011fil, \u00f6\u011frenmemek gittik\u00e7e daha zor h\u00e2le geliyor. Fakat medeniyetle e\u015f anlaml\u0131 gibi ele al\u0131nan, bazen medeniyetin kendisiymi\u015f, bazen bir par\u00e7as\u0131ym\u0131\u015f gibi anla\u015f\u0131lan, fakat de\u011fi\u015fen miktarlarda mill\u00ee olan unsurlar cihan-\u015f\u00fcmul de\u011fildir. Bunlardan baz\u0131lar\u0131, en mill\u00ee olandan en etki kabul edene do\u011fru, mesela dil \u2013 edebiyat \u2013 m\u00fbsik\u00ee &#8211; mimari- mutfak diye s\u0131ralanabilir.
