Roman babas\u0131n\u0131n bor\u00e7lar\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131nda Filistinli biriyle evlendirilen bir kad\u0131n\u0131 konu al\u0131r. Bu nedenle as\u0131l tema kad\u0131n, as\u0131l sorun ise kad\u0131n\u0131n toplumdaki rol\u00fc h\u00e2line gelmi\u015ftir. Nenanne gen\u00e7li\u011finde kocas\u0131n\u0131n dergisinde s\u0131kl\u0131kla yaz\u0131lar yazan bir ayd\u0131nd\u0131r.
