Milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceden bahsedildi\u011finde G\u00fcng\u00f6r\u2019e at\u0131f yapmamak bir eksiklik olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. \u201cTarihin sonu\u201d metaforu gibi \u201cmilliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin sonu\u201dndan bahsedilirken zikredilen isim de Erol G\u00fcng\u00f6r\u2019d\u00fcr. \u201cErol G\u00fcng\u00f6r\u2019den sonra milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce bitti\u201d, \u201cErol G\u00fcng\u00f6r milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin son b\u00fcy\u00fck m\u00fctefekkiridir\u201d vs. gibi yarg\u0131lar \u00e7ok s\u0131k kar\u015f\u0131la\u015f\u0131lan ve bilin\u00e7 alt\u0131ndaki umutsuzlu\u011fu empoze eden bir bili\u015fsel tutuma vurgu yapar. Baz\u0131 yay\u0131nlar\u0131m\u0131zda \u201cmilliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin sonu\u201d indirgemecili\u011fini ele\u015ftirmi\u015f olsak da yayg\u0131n ge\u00e7erlili\u011fini h\u00e2l\u00e2 korumaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Bu indirgemecilik g\u00f6stergesi, \u00f6nermenin milliyet\u00e7i ayd\u0131nlar nezdinde h\u00e2l\u00e2 benimsenmeye devam etmesinin kanaatimce birka\u00e7 sebebi bulunmaktad\u0131r. Birincisi, milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin ne oldu\u011fu y\u00f6n\u00fcndeki belirsizliktir. \u0130kincisi; milliyet\u00e7i ayd\u0131nlar\u0131n, milliyet\u00e7i bir self-reflexivity ile kendilerini de\u011ferlendirmemelerdir. Ba\u015fka bir deyi\u015fle kendi i\u00e7inde ileti\u015fim, etkile\u015fim ve ili\u015fkinin yo\u011fun oldu\u011fu bir cemaat karakterinin yoklu\u011fu veya zay\u0131fl\u0131\u011f\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130slamc\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce, liberal d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce, muhafazak\u00e2r d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin ne olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 konusunda herkesin alg\u0131 d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131 \u015fekillendiren bir tak\u0131m d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel nirengi noktalar\u0131, tarihsel s\u00fcre\u00e7ler, isimler, olaylar, olgular s\u00f6z konusu iken benzer bir karakteristik milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce i\u00e7in s\u00f6z konusu de\u011fildir.<\/p>\n<p>Milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce nedir? Kimler, milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin mensubu olarak kabul edilecektir? Hangi nitelikteki eserler milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin bir \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc say\u0131lacakt\u0131r? Bu sorulara verilecek cevaplar milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin de s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 belirleyece\u011fi i\u00e7in \u00f6nemlidir. Mesela Ziya G\u00f6kalp, M\u00fcmtaz Turhan, Ats\u0131z, \u0130brahim Kafeso\u011flu, Peyami Safa ve Erol G\u00fcng\u00f6r milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin bir temsilcisi say\u0131l\u0131rken Durmu\u015f Hocao\u011flu, Nevzat K\u00f6so\u011flu, Nadim Macit, Y\u0131lmaz \u00d6zakp\u0131nar, Milay K\u00f6kt\u00fcrk, \u0130skender \u00d6ks\u00fcz, Nuri G\u00fcrg\u00fcr neden milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin temsilcisi say\u0131lmamaktad\u0131r. Elbette bu sorular\u0131n muhatab\u0131 \u201cmilliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce bitti\u201d diyenlerdir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6zg\u00fcn karakteristiklere m\u00fcndemi\u00e7 bir milliyet\u00e7i d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin te\u015fekk\u00fcl edememesinin izah\u0131n\u0131 yaparken b\u00fct\u00fcn boyutlar\u0131yla sistematik bir milliyet\u00e7ilik tarihinin yaz\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131na dikkat \u00e7ekmek gerekir. T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin hangi tarihi zaman diliminde g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrl\u00fck kazand\u0131\u011f\u0131, d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktalar\u0131, farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koyan nitelikler, Bat\u0131 milliyet\u00e7iliklerinden ayr\u0131lan ve benze\u015fen \u00f6zellikleri yeterince ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bir ba\u015fka sorun da T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin mensuplar\u0131n\u0131n biyografik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na \u00f6nem verilmemi\u015f, siyasal ve sosyolojik tezah\u00fcr noktalar\u0131 belirlenmemi\u015ftir. T\u00fcrk d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin farkl\u0131 kollar\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan liberalizm, sosyalizm, \u00a0\u0130slamc\u0131l\u0131k, muhafazak\u00e2rl\u0131k gibi ak\u0131mlar, b\u00fct\u00fcn boyutlar\u0131yla bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara konu olurken T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin T\u00fcrk d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi i\u00e7inde b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, etkisi ve derinli\u011fi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcs\u00fcnde tart\u0131\u015fma konusu olmamas\u0131, \u00fczerinde durulmas\u0131 gereken bir di\u011fer noktad\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca, T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin kendi mensuplar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan de\u011fil de kar\u015f\u0131tlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 olarak ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin anlam d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131n manip\u00fclasyona a\u00e7\u0131k h\u00e2le gelmesine neden olabilmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Bu son belirlememiz \u00fczerinde ayr\u0131ca durmak icap eder. T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin hem tarihsel ve siyasal hem de sosyolojik tek\u00e2m\u00fcl\u00fc, bilimsel y\u00f6ntemlerle yeterince ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi, baz\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara konu olurken; \u00f6zellikle kurulu\u015f ve ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f d\u00f6nemleri merkeze al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f ve tarihsel bir perspektifle yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yak\u0131n d\u00f6nemde de MHP merkezli baz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. MHP merkezli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar Marksist-solcu yazarlar taraf\u0131ndan ideolojik k\u00f6rl\u00fck i\u00e7inde ama sosyolojik ve siyasal bilim jargonu kullan\u0131larak yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi, kendi \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, bilin\u00e7li bir \u015fekilde g\u00f6zard\u0131 edilerek Bat\u0131 merkezli banal bir fa\u015fizm kuram\u0131 \u00e7er\u00e7evesinde ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Son kertede Marksist sola veya di\u011fer ideolojilere mensup ayd\u0131nlar taraf\u0131ndan yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir milliyet\u00e7ilik \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlemesi T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fini \u00f6teki olarak konumlam\u0131\u015f ki\u015filerin bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131na mahk\u00fbm etmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6tekiler taraf\u0131ndan tarihi yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin, bilimsel yaz\u0131nda sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 hegemonik yakla\u015f\u0131m belirleyici bir h\u00e2l alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ba\u015fka bir deyi\u015fle, akademi d\u00fcnyas\u0131nda gerek telif ve gerekse \u00e7eviri alan\u0131nda ciddi bir yay\u0131n s\u00f6z konusudur. \u00dcniversitelerde ve \u00f6zellikle sol a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerde, hocalar taraf\u0131ndan \u201cmilliyet\u00e7ilik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131\u201d ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda dersler okutulmakta ve ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar yap\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n da liberal-solcu e\u011filimde bir egemenli\u011fin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00f6z konusudur. Sonu\u00e7ta bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar her ne kadar milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi olumsuzlayan bir yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131n sahibi olsalar da kayda de\u011fer bir literat\u00fcr\u00fcn olu\u015fmas\u0131na katk\u0131da bulunmu\u015flard\u0131r. Bu durumun yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 temel sorun, milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fin tamamen Bat\u0131daki geli\u015fim \u00e7izgisine ba\u011fl\u0131 ve Bat\u0131 toplumlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan kavramlar setiyle yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Merkezi sorunsallar, uygulanan y\u00f6ntemler, varsay\u0131mlar, yakla\u015f\u0131mlar ve kuramsalla\u015ft\u0131rmalar, T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fini \u00f6znel yarg\u0131lara hapsetmektedir. Bu yakla\u015f\u0131m bi\u00e7imleri do\u011frudan ger\u00e7ekli\u011fin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131ndan ziyade \u201cyok edilmesi gereken fa\u015fizan yakla\u015f\u0131m\u201d, \u201c\u0131rk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k\u201d, \u201cyabanc\u0131 d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131\u201d ve \u201ctek-tiple\u015ftirici\u201d gibi kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rmalarla, kar\u015f\u0131tl\u0131k \u00fczerinden egemenlik kurma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Bu ba\u011flamda T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin s\u00f6z konusu bilimsel(!) literat\u00fcrde g\u00fcndeme al\u0131nmayan, sorunsalla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmayan ve cevab\u0131 bulunmayan kuramsal soru\u00adlar ve sorunlar\u0131 g\u00fcndeme gelmeyi beklemektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Milliyet\u00e7i akademisyenlerin kendi siyasal kimlikleri \u00fczerine yani, milliyet\u00e7ilik \u00fczerine pek yazmad\u0131klar\u0131 art\u0131k bir realitedir. Bu sebeple de sol-liberal hegemonyan\u0131n T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fini kendi ideolojileri ekseninde yaratt\u0131klar\u0131 alg\u0131larla sunu\u015flar\u0131 da sorgulanmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yukar\u0131da da belirtti\u011fimiz gibi \u201cd\u0131\u015far\u0131dan\u201d kimlik alg\u0131 in\u015fas\u0131, kuramsal kavramsalla\u015ft\u0131rmalardan ara\u015ft\u0131rma y\u00f6ntemlerine kadar geni\u015f bir alanda ele\u015ftiri d\u0131\u015f\u0131 kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. S\u00f6z konusu milliyet\u00e7ilik yaz\u0131m\u0131nda ge\u00e7erli olan kuram ve metodolojilerde milliyet\u00e7ilik hareketlerinin \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, amac\u0131, i\u015flevi, kayna\u011f\u0131 ve politik hedefleri aras\u0131ndaki farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011fa da vurgu yap\u0131lmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu tasavvuru besleyen ise milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fin devletin resmi ideolojisi oldu\u011fu varsay\u0131m\u0131na dayan\u0131r. Bu varsay\u0131m Kemalizm ile milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fin \u00f6zde\u015fle\u015ftirilmesi ile bilin\u00e7li bir \u015fekilde olu\u015fturulur. Bu bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131na g\u00f6re T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi, asl\u0131nda Kemalizm, devletin politikas\u0131n\u0131 belirleyen temel ideolojidir ve bug\u00fcn T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya bulundu\u011fu, K\u00fcrt sorunu gibi y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131 sorunlar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda yer al\u0131r. B\u00f6ylece sistem, yani Kemalizm, devleti y\u00f6neten bir ideoloji olarak di\u011fer ideolojileri bask\u0131lam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r ve onlar\u0131n geli\u015fimini engellemi\u015ftir. Bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle de T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi, otoriter bir ideolojidir. Bu sorunlu ve anakronik bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin \u00f6zg\u00fcn toplumsal ve siyasal geli\u015fim \u00e7izgisinin g\u00f6z ard\u0131 edilmesinin de ana sebeplerindendir.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011finin Kemalizm\u2019le olan ili\u015fkisini, di\u011fer ideoloji mensuplar\u0131n\u0131n milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi yok saymas\u0131 giri\u015fimi olarak g\u00f6rebiliriz. Bunun yan\u0131nda bizzat milliyet\u00e7iler, kendilerini muhafazak\u00e2r ve \u0130slamc\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin de bir bile\u015feni olarak g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015flerdir. \u201cMuhafazak\u00e2r milliyet\u00e7i\u201d tamlamas\u0131 bu bile\u015fenin bir g\u00f6stergesidir.<\/p>\n<p>1960\u2019lar\u0131n sonunda do\u011fan ve 1970\u2019lerde y\u00fckseli\u015fe ge\u00e7en \u00dclk\u00fcc\u00fc T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi hareketini takiben ayn\u0131 d\u00fczlemde bilim sahas\u0131nda milliyet\u00e7ilik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 da kayda de\u011fer bir art\u0131\u015f g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. Fakat bu geli\u015fim milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fin toplumsal ve siyasi arenadaki etkisine k\u0131yasla kuramsal olarak kendinden beklenen sistematik-kurumla\u015fm\u0131\u015f bir \u201cd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce hareketi\u201d yaratamam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayn\u0131 zaman diliminde Bat\u0131\u2019daki milliyet\u00e7ilik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131, bug\u00fcne kadar s\u00fcren verimlili\u011fini yaratm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu noktada milliyet\u00e7i ayd\u0131nlar\u0131n Bat\u0131\u2019daki milliyet\u00e7ilik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na olan ilgisizli\u011finden de bahsedebiliriz.<\/p>\n<p>Bug\u00fcnk\u00fcn\u00fcn aksine, zor zamanlarda Ziya G\u00f6kalp\u2019in \u0130slam d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesinin kaynaklar\u0131na olan h\u00e2kimiyeti yan\u0131nda Bat\u0131 literat\u00fcr\u00fcne h\u00e2kimiyeti de bilinmektedir. M\u00fcmtaz Turhan, Erol G\u00fcng\u00f6r gibi \u00e7ok az say\u0131da entelekt\u00fcelin bat\u0131daki geli\u015fmeleri yak\u0131ndan takip etti\u011fi ve T\u00fcrk\u00e7eye bu kaynaklardan \u00e7eviriler yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 biliyoruz.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bir as\u0131rl\u0131k modern T\u00fcrk milliyet\u00e7ili\u011fi tarihi ayn\u0131 zamanda millet, milliyet\u00e7ilik, tarih, mill\u00ee kimlik, dil, din-milliyet ili\u015fkisi temalar\u0131n\u0131n tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n da tarihidir. G\u00f6kalp\u2019ten g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze bu durum ana hatlar\u0131yla de\u011fi\u015fmi\u015f de\u011fildir.
